About the Staff

President – Baron K. Davis E-Mail

Baron Davis started and successfully operated numerous small businesses since he was a high school and college student. After leaving college, Mr. Davis earned a commercial real estate license and marketed commercial and industrial properties to numerous corporations. During those years, he learned many important and practical lessons of providing cost effective customer service. Today, Mr. Davis focuses on marketing Safety Alert’s services to major fleet operators. As always, he seeks to identify each organization’s specific needs and to design tailored services that meet their unique operations, vehicle type, experience, and operating environment.

V P Operations – Jay L. Shannon E-Mail

Jay Shannon is a Civil Engineering graduate of Duke University. He earned an MBA in Operations Management from Columbia University of New York prior to entering the military. Until recently, this experienced Army officer served as Company Commander in a Finance Battalion of the US Army Reserve where he received the Army Commendation Medal. Mr. Shannon supports the gathering and reporting of accurate data, monitors report production for accuracy, conducts blind tests of the monitoring system, and leads development of new information technology. Under his direction, the company has expanded its use of electronic downloading of customers’ data to PC-based software programs and Internet technologies.

V P Customer Services – John W. “Jack” Vincent II E-Mail

Jack Vincent, has more than 25 years human resource experience that includes managing the skills training and safety function at a Fortune 500 Company. In 1993, he implemented a behavior-based safety program that resulted in the lowest personal accident frequency rate in that company’s history. Mr. Vincent is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of New Orleans. His expertise relates to performance management that uses measurement, feedback, and goal setting. In recent years, Mr. Vincent has authored numerous articles dealing with personal and fleet accident prevention. His focus is on providing the very best service possible and providing customers with support that helps them get the best results.
